IPFW theatre majors Liz Alberding, Jessica Butler, Aaron Mann and Blane Pressler (together with stage manager Janet Bontrager) provided students at Bluffton High School with a different look at the works of Shakespeare Wednesday morning.
The story will (famous last words - I'm hoping to get it written tonight!) be in tomorrow's News-Banner (Thursday, April 16), and I'll be posting several photos from the event here over the next few days. ("Is this a very late night I see before me......")
As you can see from these first few photos, there was audience participation in the event, with sevral of the students getting a chance to share the stage with the troupe.
Pictures from the top show:
1: Liz Alberding and Blane Pressler play star-crossed lovers Romeo and Juliet while Joe Wallace and Ryann Runion help form the balcony from which Juliet makes her famous speech.
2: Several students join the madness of a "Midsummer Night's Dream".
3: D.J. Miller and Brandon Armstrong provide the "beat boxing" as Liz Alberding and Jessica Butler perform the witches scene from McBeth.
