Video #2 From "Reflections - A Musical Revue"

I didn't do too well with the video camera at "Reflections", with most of the clips not coming out well enough to post. More practice with the camera required I guess. Hopefully by next season I'll be on top of it.

This clip shows the girls from Knight Moves perform "The Best of My Love".

Good luck to all graduating students.

Video #1 from "Reflections - A Musical Revue"

Alyssa Meyer's solo "Jazz Hot" segment from the Knight Stars competition show as performed at "Reflections - A Musical Revue".

We are still experimenting with our video cameras, trying to find out exactly what we can do. We are limited to short segments, so probably won't be able to catch a full performance, but hopefully the clips will inspire you to check out some live show choir next season.

Enjoy!

Norwell Hosts ISSMA Spring Concert

Thursday evening saw Norwell High School host its Spring Concert with the ISSMA Concert Bands performing the music that they will showcase to ISSMA. Some of the performers appear in both groups because they need certain instruments that aren't available or enough in a particular group so students cross over to do both performances.

The first photo is the Symphonic Band (Lower level/lower grades 9th & 10th). They took Gold at the ISSMA Contest last Friday night at Snider High School in Ft. Wayne.

The second photo is the Wind Ensemble (Upper level/higher grades 11th & 12th). They will be performing this Friday night at Warsaw in their ISSMA Contest.

Good luck to all the performers!

Don't forget the "Reflections" show being hosted by Norwell Show Choirs this weekend. Friday and Saturday evenings, from 7:30 p.m. (doors opening at 7 p.m.) Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and may be purchased from any choir member or at the door on the performance evenings.

Thanks to Tomi Harrison for the photos.
