Eight Southern Wells vocalists struck a high note in Indianapolis over the weekend at State ISSMA competition.
Bekah Coolman, Emily Hartley, Lillian Hartley, Johanne Lichtsinn, Jenny Lloyd, Katie Scott, Chelsea Smith, and Mandy Stoffer all earned gold ratings for their performances Saturday.
Bekah, Chelsea, Johanne and Lillian (listed in the order they appear in the photo) competed as a barbershop quartet, while Katie, Johanne, Chelsea, Jenny, Mandy and Emily (also listed in photo order) competed as an a cappella ensemble.
Bekah and Mandy also took part in solo competition.
The Southern Wells Music Department’s next big event is its production of “Hello Dolly” on March 13 and 14.
