Norwell’s seventh annual Percussion Invitational will be held at the high school gymnasium Saturday afternoon and evening.
The competition will begin at 4:30 p.m., and will feature five classes, plus an additional exhibition from two winter guard squads. Norwell’s drum line will compete in the PSO class, and will take to the floor at 6:28 p.m.
The winter guard exhibitions will take place after the competition, at 7:32 p.m. The final awards ceremony is scheduled for 8:15 p.m.
Norwell’s competition routine this year is titled “The Borg Within.” It features music of Ramin Djawadi, “It’s Almost Human To You”, “Perseus”, “Scorpiox” and “Be My Weapon.” The show was arranged by Dave and Kathryn Lemish, with visual designs by Director John Bay.
