Bluffton Show Choir Wraps Up 2012 With farewell To Four Seniors

Bluffton’s show choir season ended on a high - but sad - note Wednesday evening, as Musical Entourage said farewell to four graduating seniors in the high school auditorium.

Pictured above from left, Donald Mock, Mykayla Rodenbeck, Naomi Ifer and Hope Gerber all celebrated their final evening on the stage at Bluffton High School, reprising their 2012 competition show, and delivering special performances. Gerber, Ifer and Rodenbeck performed “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” as a trio before Gerber and Ifer performed solo spots. Gerber sang “I’ll Stand By You” while Ifer sang “Changed For Good.”

For his special performance, Mock was accompanied on the guitar by older brother Arthur for “Use Me.”

Other solo segments during the high school performances were from Kiersten Mettler, Alyssa Thompson, Taylor White, Brendan Baumgartner and Damon Kuhlenbeck.

Bluffton Middle Schools 7th and 8th grade choirs also performed a series of songs during the middle portion of the show. “Beat It,” “Stereo Hearts,” “Firework,” “Bet On It,” and “All For One” made up the middle school play list.

Photos and video from the show will be posted here over the next few days.
