Norwell To Host Drum Line Invitational Saturday

Norwell’s seventh annual Percussion Invitational will be held at the high school gymnasium Saturday afternoon and evening. 

 

The competition will begin at 4:30 p.m., and will feature five classes, plus an additional exhibition from two winter guard squads. Norwell’s drum line will compete in the PSO class, and will take to the floor at 6:28 p.m. 

 

The winter guard exhibitions will take place after the competition, at 7:32 p.m. The final awards  ceremony is scheduled for 8:15 p.m.  

 

Norwell’s competition routine this year is titled “The Borg Within.” It features music of Ramin Djawadi, “It’s Almost Human To You”, “Perseus”, “Scorpiox” and “Be My Weapon.”  The show was arranged by Dave and Kathryn Lemish, with visual designs by Director John Bay.

5:15 p.m. - Hagerstown High School

5:24 p.m. - Bishop Dwenger High School

5:33 p.m. - Yorktown High School

PSCA (Concert Percussion) Class:

5:52 p.m - Elkhart Central High School

6:01 p.m. - Leo High School 

6:10 p.m. - Monroe Central High School

6:19 p.m. - Twin lakes High School

PSA Class:

6:28 p.m. - Norwell High School

6:37 p.m. - Carroll High School

PSCO Class:

6:58 p.m. - Elkhart Memorial High School

7:06 p.m. - Warsaw High School

PSCW Class:

7:21 p.m. - Goshen High School
