Frm top to bottom, Heritage Independent, competing in the PIA class, DeKalb and Decatur Central, who competed against Norwell in the PSO class, and Victor J. Andrew from Illinois, who competed in the PSW class.
From smallest to biggest, the marching drum line classes are PSAA, PSA, PSO and PSW. PIA is a separate class for "independent" (not officially affiliated to a high school) groups.
