Norwell’s show choirs provided supporters with an early look at what their season will have in store with their annual fall preview show on Friday evening and Sunday afternoon.
Choir program members from the high and middle schools performed alongside each other as another busy season got underway. After an initial solo performance by sixth grader Teyler Siples, the choirs reprised their Bluffton Street Fair performance to start the show.
The movie “The Lion King” provided the main theme for the show, but numbers from “Bambi”, “Lady and the Tramp”, “Mulan”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “Aida”, “Little Mermaid”, and “Man of LaMancha” were also included.
The show choirs will return to the stage at the Norwell auditorium for their Christmas special in December, and during the show choir competition season, will host the Norwell Invitational on Feb. 13.
