Southern Wells Band Helps Start Up 4-H Fair

Members of the Southern Wells High School band helped pump up the crowd prior to the arrival of the parade Saturday afternoon.

The 4-H Fair continues until Thursday (July 23).

The King's Place Hosts July Jamfest

Tom Cushman performed duties as "host artist" at the July Jamfest at The King's Place on Saturday evening (July 11).

Among those joining Tom on stage were Sam Steffen, Jeff and Kim Higginbottom, and Doug Sundling.

Tom Cushman Performs

It's a busy weekend for Tom Cushman as he provided musical entertainment at the Brew Ha for Friday night's "Meet The Artist" night for July, and on Saturday, he will be the "Host Artist" for the July Jamfest at The King's Place in Bluffton, starting from 6:30 p.m.

The Brew Ha's feature artist for July is Matt Day, whose photography will adorn the walls throughout the month. We'll have the story relating to Matt's work next week in the News-Banner and Ossian Journal. If you are visiting Ossian over the next few weeks, take time to stop in at the Brew Ha for some refreshments, and a look at some of Matt's incredible pics.

And don't forget, next Friday evening at the Brew Ha, Alex Mendez will entertain throughout the evening, starting at 7 p.m.

School might be out for the summer, but we still have plenty of entertainment going on around the county!

Meet This Month's Guest Artist at the Brew Ha!

July's featured guest artist, Matt Day, will be on hand at the Brew Ha in Ossian on Friday evening (July 10) from 7 to 9 p.m. to chat about his work.

Matt's photography will be on display at the Brew Ha until the end of July. Everything on show will be from his nature collection.

Tom Cushman will be providing musical entertainment on his guitar during Friday's "Meet The Artist" opportunity.
